Aguilar Announces Congressional Art Competition for Inland Empire High School Students
Today, Rep. Pete Aguilar announced that his office will hold the Artistic Discovery Contest, a nationwide art competition that is sponsored in congressional districts across the country. Rep. Aguilar will host the competition for high school students living in California’s 31st Congressional District. The theme for this year’s competition is “commUNITY” and is open to all high school students within the congressional district.

Aguilar Connects Inland Empire Families with Student Loan Resources
Over the weekend, Rep. Pete Aguilar connected Inland Empire families with critical student loan resources at his FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and student loan workshop. Student loan advisers were on hand to answer last-minute questions ahead of the March 2nd FAFSA application deadline. The workshop also included resources for DREAMers applying for student assistance and additional information on navigating the student loan process. Nearly 100 students and parents participated in the event, which was held at the Roy C. Hill Education Center in San Bernardino on Saturday morning.
