Aguilar Announces Spring Academy Day for Inland Empire Students

Today, Rep. Pete Aguilar announced that on Saturday, May 7th, his office will hold a Spring Academy Day for Inland Empire students interested in attending U.S. Service Academies. Representatives from the United States Military Academy at West Point, United States Naval Academy, United States Coast Guard Academy, United States Air Force Academy and the United States Merchant Marine Academy will be on hand to answer questions.

“I’m glad to be able to connect our best and brightest with opportunities like this,” said Rep. Aguilar. He added, “Serving our country is the noblest thing someone can do and we are very fortunate to have such bravery and courage in the rising generation.”

The information session will be held from 10:00AM to 11:30AM at Summit Intermediate School, located at 5959 East Avenue in Etiwanda. Staff members and military representatives will be on site to answer questions and hold information sessions on the admission timeline, admission requirements and preparation, the application process, course loads, available degrees, expectations and more. Students interested in applying to U.S. Service Academies require nominations to be considered. For additional information about the workshop, please contact Rep.
