Committees and Caucuses
Representative Pete Aguilar was most recently re-elected to the House of Representatives in 2020 to represent the 31st Congressional District of California. Representative Aguilar serves as Vice Chair of the House Democratic Caucus of the House Democratic Caucus and is a Member of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and the New Democrat Coalition. He serves on the House Appropriations Committee - the committee responsible for allocating funds for all government programs and operations. There, he serves on the Subcommittees on Defense; Transportation, Housing & Urban Development; and Homeland Security. He is also a Member of the Committee on House Administration.
Representative Aguilar is the founder of the bipartisan E-Commerce Caucus and is also a member of the Pro-Choice Caucus, LGBT Equality Caucus, Work for Warriors Caucus, Veterans Jobs Caucus, Congressional MS Caucus, Native American Caucus and the Steel Caucus.
