Rep. Pete Aguilar, D-San Bernardino, recently launched a virtual thank-you note drive to provide a forum for Inland Empire residents to submit videos and images to thank health-care and frontline workers for their service throughout the pandemic.

People are encouraged to record brief video messages or submit images of homemade cards to thank those keeping the Inland Empire moving.

“As we continue to battle this pandemic, it’s more important than ever to thank our health-care heroes, frontline workers, first responders, food service employees, teachers and everyone who’s keeping our community going throughout this crisis,” Aguilar said in a news release.

“This project is a way to make sure these essential workers know they are valued and appreciated. I hope people throughout the Inland Empire will join me in sharing their gratitude,” Aguilar said.

Submissions will be shared on Aguilar’s social media channels and will be forwarded to the appropriate party when applicable.
